If self tan got a bad rap in recent years, with the tyranny of the tangerine tan, then Clarins' latest breakthrough self tanning product is about to restore public confidence and usher in a new era of tasteful self tanning.
Building on the runaway success of 2008's Delicious Self Tanning Cream (300,000 sold in the launch year alone), Clarins introduces Delectable Self Tanning Mousse SPF15, a self tanner with a whipped cream texture that pampers skin, delivering a convincingly natural golden tan while protecting it from the sun.
A MELTING MOUSSE that caresses skin on application: The pure white mousse smooths on like a silky caress, melting into skin with an incredibly light feel. Its breakthrough formula is an innovative combination of two natural polymers: glucomannan* from konjac root and xanthan gum. And the bonus – it envelops skin in a fruity fragrance enriched with a hint of almond.
* Glucomannan is a sugar synthesized by the root of the konjac plant. It is a texturizing agent that gives the mousse its silky-smooth, melting structure.

Expert Application
The secret of a great natural self tan is all in the application. To keep tell-tale streaks and tide lines at bay, and get the best finish from your self tanning mousse, take advice from the experts at Clarins:
• EXFOLIATE skin the day before you apply Delectable Self Tanning Mousse.
• PREPARE skin by applying a moisturizing cream to hydrate it and facilitate application of the self tanner.
• PROTECT hands. Consider using light gloves to apply to protect hands and allow a more even distribution
• APPLY the mousse with the spatula and spread evenly over the face and body. Smooth in quickly and don't overwork or rub the product too much.
• AVOID the eyebrows and hairline. Make sure you blend carefully around the jawline.
• Wash hands thoroughly after application.
